/ proceedings of the meetings available on the proceedings page.
Introduction:
This meeting is being jointly organised by ESA, the SWWT, the
COST 724, COST 296 and E-STAR (ESF) communities. This event follows
on from the success of the First European Space Weather Week held in
2004, with the aim of bringing together diverse communities working
on all elements of space weather. This year's meeting will review the
science and applications of space weather with a strong focus on
advances made in the areas of scientific research, application
development and transitioning science to applications. The meeting
will also explore community development and investigate possible
routes towards the creation of a sustainable space weather activity
in Europe through dedicated business meetings. One day of this week
long event will be dedicated to presentation of the newly developed
Space Weather European NETwork, SWENET, services.
