ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE RUSSIAN SPACE WEATHER INITIATIVES (RSWI) WEB SITE

We are glad to inform that the Web site "Russian Space Weather Initiatives" (RSWI) has been opened on http://alpha.npi.msu.su/RSWI/rswi.html . Links included in RSWI cover any aspects of the space weather activity in Russia:
- Institute, organisation and groups;
- Russian space and ground based experiments;
- Databases and real time data of the experiments;
- Models for diagnostic and forecasting of Space Weather;
- Scientific activity in Russia associated with Space Weather;
- Links with other Space Weather groups in the world.

The link "Satellites" contains the references on the databases of Russian space experiments. Radio observations of the Sun are presented on the link "Sun". The Sector of Space Magnetoplasma Dynamics is shown on the link  "Corona". The link "Heliosphere" contains wide list of ground-based observations and some models of galactic and solar cosmic rays. Information about Earth's magnetic field observations and models of magnetosphere dynamics are located on the link "Magnetosphere". Real time data and some models of the near Earth radiation are presented on the link "Radiation".  Link "Forecast" contains forecasting of some aspects of space weather (solar flares,  heliosphere conditions and geomagnetic storms).
Link "Events" reflects current space weather activity (conferences, symposia, workshops, etc.). "Links" permit to connect with some institutes and groups working in space weather program around the world.

RSWI Web site is under development. We will be very grateful for any comments and suggestions concerning the contents and form of the site. We are also welcome any groups to present their space weather initiatives on the RSWI Web site.
